On the Diwali day, the people buy sweets and fruits. They send gifts to their relatives and friends. At night people light earthen lamps and candels. They decorate their house with Dias and rangoli. The electric bulbs of different colours add to the beauty of the night. Children also burn crackers. Everybody is in good mood. Most of the people worhip Lakhsami, the goddess of wealth.
