INDEPENDENCE DAY IN INDIA

Independence Day is celebrated on 15 th August, as we got independence from Britishers on this day in 1947.

Our Prime Minister hoists the National Flag at Red Fort [in the capital] and addresses the whole nation.

We celebrate it at our school by hoisting flag, doing plays, singing patriotic songs and take pledge to serve our country.
